Forrest has completed the installation of a 3mW floating solar array at Godley Reservoir in Greater Manchester. The installation is one of the largest floating PV system’s in Europe.
The system consists of 12,000 solar panels floating on the reservoir’s water and covers an area of 45,500 sq m. Here are the facts…

The scheme provides United Utilities with 2.7 GWh per year of renewable, zero carbon power to be used directly by the site.
